Abia State University (ABSU) announced the release of the 2015/2016 academic session admission list.


ABSU merit admission list contains the names of candidates offered provisional admission into the university degree programmes.

For now, ABSU merit admission list has not been uploaded on the school website, but it is accessible on JAMB admission Status checking portal.

Candidates who have made it are advised to print it.

As a foremost state University in Nigeria founded in 1981, Abia State University has maintained its leadership within and beyond the Eastern heartlands of Nigeria. The Management and Authority of Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti (EKSU) has directed that all students of the university MUST pay their fees and complete registration for this semester within the stipulated date.

A Statement issued by the Deputy registrar, Information and corporate affairs of the university, Ajibade Olubunmi stressed that the University gave 20th December, 2015 deadline following entreaties made by some parents to shift the former deadline of 7th December, 2015.

To this end all students of the university must pay their fees and complete their registration for the semester by 20th December, 2015.

Any student who fails to complete registration at the expiration of this date will forfeit his or her studentship.

Science-based Programmes: 35,000.00
Jigawa State University fees For students from other States

Science-based Programmes: N120,000.00
3. Jigawa State University fees For students Hostel Accommodation is N10,000.00

Optional, based on availability.

Indigenes of Jigawa State University are to pay 25% of the Registration fees (i.e. N7,500.00 for Humanities-Based Programmes and N8,750.00 for Science-Based Programmes) while the State Scholarship Board will pay directly to the University the balance of 75% of the registration fees following award of scholarship to deserving candidates. Female indigenes of Jigawa State and physically-challenged candidates from the State are to enjoy 100% scholarship. It is the responsibility of the students to apply for the scholarship.

All the newly admitted pioneer undergraduate students of the University are to pay the following fees for the 2015/2016 Academic Session:

1. Sule Lamido University Admission Acceptance Fee
