SIWES & IT TECHNICAL REPORT RECOMMENDATION FORMAT - SAMPLE
1.1 RECOMMENDATION
In view of the relevance of the SIWES program, it is important that it is sustained by the government through the Industrial Training Fund (ITF) as it exposes the student to work tools, facilities, and equipment that may not be available in their respective institutions in relation to their course of study.
To this end, I recommend that the following under-listed points should be implemented:
a. There should be proper supervision of the student concerned by both the ITF officials and the Institution-based supervisors.
b. The program co-coordinator from the Industrial Training Fund in the various states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) should ensure that the students’ concerned are placed in the relevant department in these organizations.
c. Most of the government institutions should make it as a service to pay a monthly stipend to the students’ concerned.
d. Proper placement of the student for such programme by the industrial training department of each institution through creating a strong alliance with different companies.
e. The companies should put in place all the necessary facilities needed to enhance the knowledge of the student in industrial attachment.
f. Improvement of allowance and free transport services for student attached to the various organizations.
